Chief Experience and Talent Officer
Mimi Kravetz is Hillel International’s chief talent officer. In this role, she oversees a team responsible for finding, growing and keeping talented Hillel professionals at every local Hillel. Since its inception in 2015, the talent team has launched the Springboard Fellowship to bring early career talent to Hillel to build the leadership pipeline for the Jewish world, created Hillel U to ensure every one of Hillel’s 1,200 professionals has the training to be successful, developed Talent Grants to provide local Hillels with funding to retain their top staff through competitive compensation and educational programs as well as implemented a range of human resource best practices. Mimi is also a part of the leadership of the Safety Respect Equity Coalition to address sexual harassment and gender discrimination across the Jewish world, and she is leading Hillel’s work to advance women in the workplace.

Mimi joined Hillel as its inaugural CTO after more than six years as a Google Executive in the Marketing and People Operations (HR Functions). From this work, she brought a passion for creating great workplaces, empowering employees, building from customer insights, and inspiring innovation. While at Google, Mimi worked in Google.org where she spearheaded initiatives to educate nonprofits on Google tools, and to bring historic archives to the web including the Dead Sea Scrolls and Yad Vashem photo collections. Mimi began her career as a Jewish nonprofit professional at Stanford Hillel and, after over a decade in the business world at American Express and Google, rejoined Hillel in 2015. Mimi has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Tufts University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with majors in International Relations and Judaic Studies. Mimi is a member of class #1 of the Wexner Field Fellowship, an professional development program for Jewish professional leaders. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, two children, dog Foggy, and cat Atticus.
