Awards & Recognitions
Marc has been a speaker for the AICPA Practitioners Symposium and Tech+ conference since 2010, and a member of the conference planning committee since 2014. He is a regular speaker, author and panelist on technology in the accounting profession, cloud computing, mobile technology, leadership and vision. He was honored by CPA Practice Advisor as a 2011 recipient of its annual 40 Under 40 Award.

Previous Roles
Prior to Boomer Consulting, Inc., Marc most recently was Principal and CIO at CohnReznick, one of the nation’s ten largest accounting, tax and advisory firms. With 17 years of experience in accounting technology, he has held many roles and advised firms of all sizes as an industry thought leader.

Marc considers himself a geek in all the best ways, he is also a runner, a writer, an entrepreneur, an avid book lover, an amateur psychologist and part time philosopher, a beer and bourbon snob, and an unrelenting ambassador for technology who is happy to “talk tech” all day long. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
